My current touring post-covid fringe show, Daphna Baram: Unmuted, was launched at Brighton Fringe May 2021 and has a 2 day run in London in October 2021.

Views from the Gods

London based, Israel-born, and with a  background in human rights law and journalism (Ha’aretz, The Guardian, BBC, Al Jazeera, New Statesman, The Independent), I have been performing stand up comedy since 2010 in various clubs in the UK and Europe.

Over the past decade I have taken my comedy across the country to venues renowned for their comedy, including: The Stand Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle, Yes Bar Glasgow, Beehive Edinburgh, Breakneck Aberdeen, Hampstead Comedy Club London, Gags on the Green Peterborough; Stand Up on the Strand in Kent, Wine Gums in Cambridge; The International, Dublin.

 

I have also been involved in various fringe shows since 2011 with my solo stand up shows including: Killing MissD (2013), AKA MissD (2014), Something to Declare (2015), Begging to Differ (2016) Chicken Soup Crusader (2017), Sugarcoating (2018), Cracking Up (2019) and the successful three-hander Bombs Booze and Haggis (2014-2015 with Andrew Gilmore and Gary Sansome).

Created and founded to help the Palestinian cause

Laughing for Palestine was created as a way to host fundraisers to help build a better future in Palestine. Supported by other big names in comedy including Frankie Boyle, Alexei Sayle, Dane Baptiste, Jen Brister and more, we have organised 'Stand Up for Palestine' shows for the' Palestine Solidarity Campaign'.
